
Jazzlyn Blu was born in Germany and raised in Denmark, Scandinavia. Her voice is a rare first soprano. She attained her musical education in Aarhus and Copenhagen, Denmark.
Jazzlyn Blu’s influences range from the timeless elegance of Billie Holiday and Ella Fitzgerald to the great Aretha Franklin, filtered through Jazzlyn Blu’s own lived experiences and melodic sensibility. Jazzlyn Blu invites her audience to experience Jazz and more, as a living conversation – intimate, passionate and endlessly welcoming to interpretation. The result is more than singing; it’s an invitation to linger, listen, and fall in love with the next note.
Jazzlyn Blu performed with jazz bands, big bands, and rock bands, in Cathedrals and Churches in Europe. Appeared as a guest entertainer, toured with Classical Choirs and Orchestras throughout the world. Jazzlyn Blu has performed at the prestigious Musik huset (The Music house) in Aarhus Denmark.
She has worked behind the scenes with the Great Celine Dion at the Coliseum, Las Vegas, Nevada, as well as with Sir Elton John. She also has national TV appearances under her belt.
Jazzlyn Blu currently resides in Las Vegas, Nevada where she is exploring her musical talents while networking and performing with some of the world’s greatest entertainers. Jazzlyn Blu has been on stage with the incomparable Barbra Streisand and has been directed by her great musical director and composer William Ross, on the Back to Brooklyn tour at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, Las Vegas, Nevada.
